Converter

Interface converters: logic level shifters, USB to TTL and RS485 adapters, CAN modules, ADC and DAC boards, I2C multiplexers and breakout adapters.

Modules that let two different systems talk to each other: bi-directional 5V to 3.3V logic level converters, USB to TTL serial adapters (FT232RL, CP2102, CH340G), MAX485 and USB to RS485 converters, CAN modules (MCP2515, SN65HVD230), ADS1115 and HX711 analog-to-digital converters, the TCA9548A I2C multiplexer and SOIC, USB and ESP32 breakout boards.

Which converter do I need?

To program a board that has no USB port, or to read a serial device on a PC, use a USB to TTL converter. To connect a 5V sensor to a 3.3V ESP32 or Raspberry Pi, use a logic level converter. For long cable runs between devices, RS485 or CAN is far more reliable than plain serial. To read precise analog values, add an ADC module.
