This straight bar type load cell is a precision strain gauge sensor designed to accurately convert mechanical force or weight into a proportional electrical signal, making it the go-to weighing element for DIY digital scales, industrial measurement systems, and embedded microcontroller projects. Machined from high-grade aluminium alloy, the straight bar body houses four internal strain gauges wired in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, delivering a stable and repeatable rated output of approximately 1.0mV/V. With an excitation voltage range of 5–10V DC, the sensor pairs directly with the HX711 24-bit ADC amplifier module for clean digital readings on any microcontroller platform including Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and STM32. The four colour-coded wires (Red = E+, Black = E−, Green = A+, White = A−) allow quick, error-free wiring.
