The Raspberry Pi Zero W is an ultra-compact, full-featured single-board computer that brings built-in wireless connectivity to the legendary Pi Zero form factor. At just 65mm × 30mm × 5mm and weighing only 9.3g, it packs a complete Linux computer — capable of running the same Raspberry Pi OS as larger Pi boards — into a footprint barely larger than a USB flash drive.

Powered by a 1GHz Broadcom BCM2835 single-core ARM11 processor paired with 512MB of RAM, the Zero W delivers roughly four times the performance of the original Raspberry Pi at a fraction of the size and cost. The standout addition over the non-wireless Pi Zero is onboard 2.4GHz 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1 / BLE connectivity via the BCM43143 chip, eliminating the need for external WiFi dongles or adapters — making it an excellent choice for IoT devices, remote-access projects, and wireless sensor nodes.

Connectivity includes a mini HDMI port for 1080p video output, a micro USB port for data (OTG) plus a separate micro USB power input, a microSD card slot for OS and storage, and a CSI camera connector for use with Raspberry Pi camera modules.
