MAX7219 8 Digit LED Display Module
Rs 590.00
Quick Info :
- Driver IC : MAX7219
- Display Type : 8-digit 7-segment LED
- Digit Size : 0.36 inch
- Interface : 3-wire serial (DIN, CS, CLK)
- Operating Voltage : 5V DC
The MAX7219 8 Digit LED Display Module is a bright, easy-to-read numeric display that shows up to eight digits of numbers, time, counters, and sensor readings, driven by the MAX7219 serial LED driver. The driver chip handles all the multiplexing and refreshing, so the display stays flicker-free while your microcontroller is free to do other work.
Only three signal pins (DIN, CS, and CLK) plus 5V power and ground are needed, which saves valuable I/O compared to wiring eight digits by hand. The MAX7219 includes a built-in decoder, adjustable brightness, and control over individual digits and segments. Modules can be chained together using the DOUT output to create longer displays, and the module works with 5V and 3.3V logic, so it pairs easily with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi through widely available libraries such as LedControl. The board has four mounting holes for easy installation, and two 5-pin header strips are included for the input and output connections, ready to solder.
It is ideal for digital clocks, counters, scoreboards, voltmeters, frequency displays, and any project that needs a clear numeric readout. Whether you are a beginner learning display control or an experienced maker building a custom instrument, this module gives you a reliable, low-pin-count display in a compact board.
