LPD3806 Incremental Rotary Encoder 5-24V

The LPD3806 Series is a high-precision incremental optical rotary encoder built for accurate motion sensing, speed measurement, and angular position feedback. Available in 200 P/R, 360 P/R and 600 P/R resolution options, this encoder provides accurate, reliable rotational position and speed feedback across a wide range of microcontroller and PLC-based systems, with an operating voltage range of DC 5-24V.

Featuring a maximum response frequency of up to 30KHz and a maximum mechanical speed of 5000 RPM, this encoder is well-suited for both slow precision movements and faster rotational applications. The encoder body measures approximately 38mm in diameter with a 6mm shaft, and outputs an NPN open collector AB two-phase signal, making it compatible with Arduino, PLC controllers, and common microcontroller platforms.

Wiring is straightforward, with color-coded leads for A-phase, B-phase, power, and ground, simplifying integration into existing projects.
