The VOKM FX3U-24MT 2AD 2DA is a compact, industrial-grade transistor-output Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) board based on the Mitsubishi FX3U instruction set — the transistor (MT) variant of the FX3U-24MR, designed specifically for applications requiring high-speed digital pulse output such as stepper motor control, servo drives, encoders, and high-frequency switching loads. Powered by a 32-bit industrial microcontroller with strong EMI interference protection, it runs on a standard DC 24V / 24W supply and delivers processing speeds that far exceed the original FX3U platform.

The critical difference between the MT and MR variants is the output stage. Where the MR uses mechanical relay contacts for AC/DC load switching, the MT uses NPN open-collector transistor outputs — enabling Y0–Y3 to output high-speed pulses at up to 100KHz, and Y4–Y11 at up to 10KHz. This makes the FX3U-24MT the correct choice for stepper motor drives, servo amplifiers, high-frequency solenoid valves, and DC PWM loads. Each transistor output is rated at 500mA (up to 4A with freewheeling diode), and Y4–Y11 can drive DC 24V loads up to 3A directly. Note that transistor outputs are DC-only — unlike relay outputs, they cannot switch AC loads.

The module provides 14 digital input points (X0–X15) with X0–X5 supporting high-speed counting up to 12KHz. Two built-in 12-bit analog input channels (2AD) accept 0–10V or 0–20mA signals directly from sensors, and two 12-bit analog output channels (2DA) provide 0–10V for variable speed drive and actuator control. Onboard RS232 and RS485 ports, a built-in RTC, and run/stop switch complete the package. Programming via GX Developer or GX Works2 in standard Ladder Logic with 8000-step EEPROM memory.
