TCS34725 RGB Colour Sensor Module I2C

A high-precision colour sensing breakout built around the AMS TCS34725 chip, this RGB Colour Sensor Module is designed for makers, hobbyists, and engineers who need accurate, real-time colour data in their projects. The module shines a white LED onto a target surface and measures the reflected red, green, blue, and clear (ambient) light through a 3×4 photodiode array, converting the readings into 16-bit digital values via four integrated ADCs.

An on-chip IR blocking filter eliminates infrared interference and delivers truer colour measurements compared to unfiltered sensors. With a remarkable 3,800,000:1 dynamic range and programmable gain (1×, 4×, 16×, 60×) along with adjustable integration time, it performs reliably even through dark glass or under challenging lighting conditions.
