K202 Fingerprint Control Board DC12V Relay

The K202 Control Board is a dedicated fingerprint access control module designed to work directly with the R503 fingerprint sensor, turning it into a complete standalone biometric access control solution. Rather than requiring a separate microcontroller to handle fingerprint enrollment, matching, and output logic, this board manages the entire process onboard, making it ideal for hobbyists and installers building door locks, cabinet locks, safes, and other secured access points without writing a single line of code. Registering a new fingerprint is as simple as pressing the SET button and placing a finger on the sensor, with audio and LED feedback confirming successful enrollment.

Once a registered fingerprint is detected, the K202 drives an onboard relay to unlock a door strike, solenoid lock, or other 12V-rated device, with the relay’s hold time adjustable from 0.5 to 13 seconds using an onboard potentiometer. The board supports two connector types, letting it interface with the R503 as well as several other GROW fingerprint modules, giving flexibility for different sensor choices. Its low standby current keeps power draw minimal in always-on installations, and factory reset is available with a simple long press of the SET button. Compact and easy to wire, the K202 is a practical, low-fuss way to add fingerprint-based access control to gates, cabinets, safes, and DIY security projects.
