Gear Motor

DC gear motors: N20 micro metal gear motors with and without encoders, 25GA-370 and JGB37 12V motors, worm gear motors and linear actuators.

Motors with a gearbox for slow, strong rotation: N20 micro metal gear motors from 200 to 750 RPM at 6V (with or without a magnetic encoder), 25GA-370 and JGB37-520 and 550 12V motors at several speeds, JGY-370 worm gear motors that hold their position when stopped, and 12V linear actuators with 50 mm and 100 mm strokes.

Choosing speed and torque

The lower the RPM, the higher the torque. For a small robot car, 100 to 300 RPM is typical. An encoder lets your code measure speed and distance. Gear motors need a motor driver such as the TB6612FNG or L298N.
